This is the web site of the Stella Maris chaplains here in Melbourne. We are here to serve your
needs as your parish priests while you are away from home. It will be our privelege to meet you
during a ship visit. Our main purpose is to provide the opportunity for conversation and spiritual
advice. You are assured of a our careful attention to your concerns with regard to personal well
being and all spiritual matters.

This site will help you find your way around the city of Melbourne and help you with issues that
are important to seafarers. In these times when the turn around time for ships is getting shorter
and shorter simply knowing where shops are located is important. We set this site up to help you
with this. Coming to a new city can be difficult. If you have the time, and you wish to go to the
zoo, for instance, we provide information about how to get there.

We hope that during your stay in Melbourne you will be able to find time to simply relax. If you
are not able to leave the ship please telephone us and we will make time to come to you.
